Entre Dos Mundos: Day of the Dead Live Show – October 31
Entre Dos Mundos tells the story of Día de Muertos through dance and live music in a 50-minute show on the rooftop of La Sirena in Puerto Morelos.
From Mictlán to today
The show follows the tradition from start to present. It begins with ancient rituals tied to Mictlán, the underworld of Mexica belief. It then moves through the meeting of Indigenous and Spanish cultures and ends with the celebration as Mexico observes it now. Ritual dance, original live music and visual storytelling carry the narrative, and the performance is presented in both English and Spanish.
The people behind it
Choreographer Javier González created the production. He previously served as Director of Choreography at Xcaret. Designer Anthony Manfredonia made the costumes by hand.
An intimate rooftop night
Only 50 guests can attend, and seating is general admission. Your ticket includes a welcome drink, and you can order from La Sirena's full menu before and during the show. The show is family-friendly, and it moves indoors if the weather turns severe.
