From cemetery to Malecón

The celebration opens at the cemetery on Friday evening and runs through November 2. Over the weekend, most of the action moves to Parque Benito Juárez and the waterfront Malecón.

Halloween in the park

Saturday afternoon has a playful, family-minded tone, with multicultural activities, children's performances and costume contests. There are categories for children and for pets.

Bread and offerings

Sunday turns to tradition, with a showcase and sale of pan de muerto, bread and chocolate in the park. These are among the season's most familiar flavors.
