Cabo San Lucas's restaurant community takes to the streets for a colourful Day of the Dead procession, with decorated vehicles and costumed staff bringing local culture to life in the heart of downtown.

The parade

CANIRAC Los Cabos — the local restaurant and bar chamber — organises the procession, with member venues decorating their vehicles and dressing staff as catrinas and catrines. The route runs from the Cultural Pavilion to Yenekamu through downtown Cabo San Lucas, making it easy to catch from the street.

Community and culture

Now in its third edition, the event draws both visitors who enjoy the spectacle and locals proud to display their traditions. The Cabo San Lucas Volunteer Fire Department and the Los Cabos Municipal Government both provide support.
